Birthday presents

2 special requests from Eunice.
This order was placed more than a month ago... there's another 'request', suggesting me to post these special request baggies blog post later in the end of April :) reason was just in case her friends bump into cassettee's blog, and there's no more surprises, haha!
Today is 23rd, hope that it isn't an over-early post ya!

One is obviously the Boo-ka-dot in purple. The small one is from the concept of the lomo cases, but I was given a picture of the Olympus Trip 35.

And this is how they look like :)

Happy Birthday to Eunice's friends!

Recycle your plastic bags!!!

This is absolutely a great idea of recycling plastic bags! and no more headache on searching for nice printed fabric for baggies! Hehehehe... I love it!

Here's the video from Etsy How-to:

Thanks Etsy! This is definitely a SWEET one!

There are some workshops going on in Annexe Gallery, and one of them is Fusing plastic bags! Here's some information:

I might not be able to make it on that day :( But I hope this piece of info reaches those who are interested!

So Greeeeen - KL Design Week

We were quite late that day. After some exciting, nervous, miserable moments, finally I was there with Beau in Capsquare.
Besides the creative Secret Tents, I think the 'green' concept was so cool!

Please peeps, SAY NO TO PLASTIC BAGS!

Check out some pictures here:

Keyboard keys cube

Very elaborate clay 'beads' by Gigi Gee. Love them!

Boxy Bat

Made up with.... newspapers!!

Haha, something cute.

Hand knitted decorative items by Lucas Chay.

See, Beauty was so happy with the hand knitted bag.

The Secret Tent. Look at those 'trees' and canvas bags!

Diamond is a girl's best friend?

' diamond' + wrinkle = cassettee's recent creation?
Hahaha... tried something new. My mom was telling me this doesn't work cause the little 'diamonds' are just too much (as in heavy) for the tee.

Well, this is what I've created :) Hope you gals like it!

Fieewww.... what a weekend @ the YOUTH '09

A very tiring weekend!! But the response to our handmade items was great! 'Record breaking' I would say, hahaha... (although I've lost 2 brooches... some sticky fingers around, GGggrrrr...)

This year was quite purely show casing and selling. Yet, we still enjoyed ourselves very much! Hehe, I've tried something new like wall climbing at the Rakan Muda booth. Ling took some pix of me, hahaha, but I'm not gonna post it here... friends do check out my FaceBook ;P

Below are some pictures taken - cool art pieces and artisans!

Ling & I @ the YOUTH '09 Red Carpet! :)

Karya's booth! Pretty cool right? Very creative!

Tea set, simple and lovely.

The Nipon, G-Shock and Rakan Muda Graffiti painting by local artists.

Our mini booth.

Hand painted canvas shoes by Boonga!

Plushies for your love ones? Further details please contact Ms So @ gkoon_so@hotmail.com

It was jam packed at the creative lane! Especially on Saturday.

Ling with the purse that I specially made for her. She's going to New Zealand very soon. Who's gonna be with me on the next bazaar? ... *sob*sob* :(

The Plasterdoll! Nicely designed prints with this character "Plasterdoll". You will find her wearing the hip and trendy international branded outfit or accessories like Tommy Hilfiger!

Everything is Miao~~ cat paintings by Jaja.

This is what I call: Lomo ME, Lomo U :)
Bought myself a Lomolitography camera! hahaha... pretty much like a toy with filter colour flash... It is actually a one-time-use camera but some how you can still reload film and reuse. Still exploring tho, coz the flash just doesn't work ; only work once... then never flash again
